The Perma Ceram Process

The Process is Simple!

Perma Ceram technicians will come to your house and use a spray-on procedure to brighten up almost any bathroom surface which may be dull, worn, or stained. We can give your old worn out bathroom fixtures new life at a fraction of the time and cost of replacement. We guarantee our work for up to five years, and most jobs can be completed in as little as one day. We can apply our finish to a variety of bathroom fixtures such as bathtubs, sinks, and tiles. We can even match existing colors, or change the current colors. Our process seals and gives a like-new shiny, smooth, manageable finish to any fixture.

The Resurfacing Process Includes:

– Stripping (if the fixture has been resurfaced before – only if needed)
– Cleaning/ Acid wash of the surface
– Sanding
– Masking to protect surrounding areas
– Application of 1 primer coat followed by 4 coats of sprayed on epoxy material in your chosen color
– Careful unmasking
– Caulking if and where applicable

While there are chemicals used, rest assured we make sure to take all needed precautions to protect our workers, you, and your home. We use an exhaust system to mitigate as much of the fumes as possible. If there is a window in the room, we use a fan, in cases where there is not a window present, then we use a ventilator with attached hoses to vent outside to the next closest window.
